A lot has changed during the coronavirus pandemic, including the menu at your favorite fast-food chains. Grocery stores have seen major changes, too, with increased safety measures in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19. And many restaurant menus have been simplified, including the one at the Costco food court.
We've rounded up a few of the Costco foods that aren't available during the pandemic. Hopefully, they'll return to the menu at some point, because they're dearly missed. And for more on the warehouse chain, don't miss these 17 Secrets You Never Knew About Costco.
Combo pizza slice
Cheese and pepperoni pizza slices are still on the menu during the pandemic, but the combo slice, loaded with vegetables, pepperoni, and sausage, is nowhere to be found.
Acai bowl
The chocolate soft serve went the way of the dinosaur when U.S. Costco stores added the acai bowl to the menu. It's not available during the pandemic, but you can still get a vanilla soft serve cup, topped with strawberry or chocolate syrup.
Chicken bake
The chicken bake is a Costco icon, but we didn't see it on the menu during a recent visit to the warehouse club. We'd give anything for another taste of the cheesy, doughy concoction.
Churros
Costco's churros aren't the healthiest option, but they're a staple at the food court, especially because they're just $1 each. It's safe to say that plenty of fans are awaiting their return.
Hot turkey & provolone sandwich
If you're not a pizza fan, this sandwich was always a safe bet at the Costco food court. It doesn't seem to be on the menu during the pandemic, though, which is a true shame.
